I hope everyone had a nice Valentine’s Day, we have lots of warm hearts in Sandbridge but the temperatures are freezing! The other thing that has kept real estate professionals and lenders warm is the market.
We are off to a strong start to 2015 in terms of real estate sales in Sandbridge. We are just in the second week of February and there are 10 single-family homes and 4 condos “under contract”. This represents a significant increase over last year at this time, however, last year we dealt with much more inclement weather that seemed to hit every weekend for the month of February.
See below for addresses and list of prices of these homes and condos. As you can see it is fairly spread out in price range and location.
I’ll keep you posted as these properties are sold on the sales prices. My guess is that most will close within 3-5% of list price which has been the average for the last six months.
The next Civic League meeting is this Monday the 16th followed by the March meeting also on the 16th. Other community events coming up are the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th at 10:30am, call Amy Barton @ 757-478-3139 for any questions on the event and the 2nd Annual Watersports Swap meet will happen at the Baja either late March or early April, I will keep you posted on that date when it is announced.
