Aftermath of Ash Wednesday Storm, 1962

No Snow for Sandbridge!

Wellllll, we were suppose to get a few inches of snow Thursday night, but Sandbridge got nothing, zip, zero, nada. At least the kids got to sleep in a little bit due to a two-hour school delay. Sorry, we were hoping for a nice “snow on the beach” photo for the newsletter. We are approaching the 58th anniversary of the Ash Wednesday Storm of 1962. This storm certainly had a huge impact on the community. I am hoping to speak to a few locals that remember the event to get their historical perspective to share.

Real Estate activity with single family homes has been steady for the past 30 days. Since the beginning of the year we have had 21 new homes come on the market and we currently have 37 for sale. This continues to be a good balance between supply and demand. Mortgage rates continue to be low and are forecast to stay in current range for the first quarter of the year.
