A Day of Remembrance!

This Memorial Day weekend, the SBH team and I would like to say thank you to those men and women who paid the ultimate price. We will always remember the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes. We are deeply grateful. As a “Day of Remembrance” we also honor their loved ones: spouses, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, friends. There really aren’t proper words, but we do live in gratitude each and every day for the precious gift that they have given to us. Our team put together this video of Remembrance. Thank you to all that sent in photos of their loved ones.

I did get reports from the local property management companies that Sandbridge is at 75% occupancy which is good news for our local business’. In the past few weeks we’ve enjoyed catching up with some them to see how they are doing. You can see these interviews at SandbridgeHouses.com.

After a period of little to no activity on the real estate front, the market has begun to wake up a bit. Much of the buyer traffic is coming from communities that are close to Sandbridge. These buyers are looking to make these homes their primary residence. Included in the reports below are homes and condos that currently have contracts on them subject to home inspection which is why they are still showing active in our multiple listing service (MLS).

Activity for past 30 days is as follows:
Single Family Homes – 10 Pending and 2 Sold
Condos – 2 Pending and 1 Sold
Market Metrics – January 1, 2020 – May 20, 2020 Year-to-Date

As I close this newsletter, I would like to wish you all health, strength and perseverance as we continue to adjust to our new normal. Remember to take time to remember those that have served this Memorial Day. We plan to be on the beach watching the sunrise on Monday in honor and remembrance!

Aloha,

Pat
