Winterizing your pool:
- Clean your pool by removing any leaves, insects, dirt, and sand from the pool, skimmer and pump basket
- Balance the water chemistry
- Don’t let chemicals damage your pool
- Drain SOME of the water
- Disconnect your pump and filter
- Dry out the pipes
- Clean the filter
- Add a flotation device to the center of the pool BEFORE you cover it up
- Cover with a WINTER cover
