Memorial Day is right around the corner, the official start to SUMMER!
Everyone is busy here doing last minute touch ups for the rental season, it’s always interesting to me to see our little piece of the world buzzing with activity keeping our portion of the economy moving along. My brother and I along with several other members of the Sandbridge Beach Business Association just finished installing the recycle cans at all the beach access ways; this has been a great collaboration with the community and City of Virginia Beach now in its third year.
The real estate market is experiencing it annual burst of activity with a significant jump in “pending” and “sold” properties, particularly with signal family homes. See link for 8 “pending” and 4 “sold” single family homes as well as 1“sold” and 3 “pending” condos for the past 30 day period. We are in the peak of our spring selling season as these numbers represent.
Upcoming community events include the Sandbridge Beach Memorial Day Parade held in Sandbridge Shores, the 33rd Annual Pungo Strawberry Festival and the 7th Annual Double Clutch Bass Tournament. No shortage of things to do this time of year or just spend time at the beach enjoying the awesome environment this community provides.
