Summer in Sandbridge is in full swing!
I hope everyone is managing to get some beach time. The July 4th boat parade and fireworks was another great success and with the upcoming fall season, thoughts are turning towards the 38th Annual Sandbridge Pig Pickin’ held on September 9th. This is always a great event and fundraiser for our local volunteer rescue squad. Please stop by and pick up your tickets at our office.
As you can quickly see the real estate market has not taken much of a break this summer. Normally, there is a slight pause this time of year based on the fact that the only time to view the properties is on Saturday during the change over. Take a look at the PDFs below:

- Condos – 1 Sold and 2 Pending Sale
The sales range is from $1,178,000 – $329,000. The market for single family homes is very healthy with approximately 11 months of inventory, average days on market of 140 days and a sales price to sold price ratio of 95%. Condos have approximately 15 months of inventory, average days on market of 172 days and a sales price to sold price ratio of 96%.
One final note, the City of Virginia Beach is now cleaning our beach on a weekly basis with a grooming machine and with lifeguards patrolling from north to south we are cleaner and safer than ever. Enjoy the rest of summer 2017!
