Happy New Year everyone, I hope you all enjoyed the holidays with family and friends.

We had unseasonably warm weather which allowed for some fun time on the beach as well as an extended boating season.

Hot off the press is the graph below showing the year end real estate statistics for Sandbridge Beach compared to the previous year. I think it is fair to say it was a good year for real estate at the beach with double digit gains in most categories.

As I mentioned in previous newsletter, the condo market saw the largest gains and has really come alive. This segment has been the weakest since the recession and has finally turned a corner. Oceanfront sales are also up; this segment has been mostly driven by investors, as this segment provides the strongest returns out of any other category. What will 2016 bring to the real estate market in Sandbridge Beach? No one has the “crystal ball” but early indications show continued growth although at a slower pace. Inventory remains good and as expected we are experiencing additional inventory as we move into the spring season, our strongest period of sales traditionally for the year.

I would also like to announce that my wonderful wife, Amy is taking an official position with the company as our Client Appreciation Specialist. She will be communicating with our clients to provide another level of service that those of you that have worked with us know you can expect.
