August in Sandbridge was absolutely wonderful, filled with sunshine and South winds. Local restaurants, the Sandbridge Market, the beach, and the Little Island Playground were alive with families enjoying every moment and making lasting memories together. It was a month full of laughter, good food, and unforgettable experiences!
A huge THANK YOU to the Sandbridge Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad Boosters for their incredible dedication this summer! Their successful BINGO season and the always-popular Sandbridge Pig Pickin’ raised thousands of dollars in support of the Volunteer Rescue Squad. Even more, they created countless fun-filled Wednesday nights for both locals and visitors throughout the summer—capped off with a fantastic finale on September 7th.
We’ve had some refreshing cool and breezy weather the first weeks of September, with consistent northeast winds. While it might not be the classic beach weather, it’s been great to see our vacationers embracing the change, making the most of it by spending quality time with family and friends. Everyone seems to be enjoying the outdoors in their own unique way!

Join us for the Sandbridge Beach Civic League’s Fall Clean-Up starting at 1:00 PM on October 19th! Meet us at Little Island Park, Shelter One, where you’ll be assigned a section of Sandbridge to help clean up. Afterward, members are invited to a special Oktoberfest celebration to relax and enjoy the season!
