Our treasured tradition is back on the beach, and we are all “egg-cited” for it. It’s one of the most anticipated events hosted by the Sandbridge Beach Civic League. The annual Easter Egg Hunt is a big day in Sandbridge for families and kids of all ages. This year, the Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 10:30am at Little Island Park, Shelter One.
Like all events of this magnitude, the Easter Bunny and helpers can’t do it without your help. We are asking all families to stuff 100 plastic eggs with goodies like candy, stickers, erasers, and coins. This is a fun project to involve all family members, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Moms, Dads and kids! Please drop the bag of stuffed eggs at 308 Back Bay Crescent by Thursday, March 28st. You can leave them on the front porch if no one is home. Last year, we spread over 9000 eggs all over Little Island Park. And it takes our amazing community to make this happen.
The day of the Easter Egg Hunt we will be collecting contributions for our Adopt-A-Munster Program where the Sandbridge Civic League provides meals for our First Precinct police officers on the first Wednesday of every month. Cash or checks will be accepted, and any amount will do. You can make checks out to CAC and put “Adopt-a-Munster” in the memo line.
This fun filled event is always made possible due to the adult and teen volunteers in our Community. If you would like to pitch in and volunteer this year, or if you have any questions about the Easter Egg Hunt, contact Amy Barton at 757-478-3139 or [email protected].
See you on the beach.
