Snow on the Sandbridge Beach Access - 2014

Since my last newsletter Sandbridge has experienced two snow storms and plenty of chilly temperatures. I heard Al Roker this morning say it hasn’t been this cold and stormy since 1984. With that being said I know that spring is around the corner, with new houses under construction and the brisk pace of renovations, it’s a sure sign of warmer days to come.

On the real estate front, we are experiencing a slightly slower start than last year at this time, no doubt due to weather. There are currently 4 homes pending and 1 sold and 1 condo under contract for the period. See link for detail. There are currently 55 homes for sale which is comparable to last year. Of note, there is a foreclosure on Sandfiddler (semi oceanfront) that could be a great investment opportunity. Feel free to call or email me for more details on this property or any others. Remember you can always get real time active listings on the market by going to the quick search section of www.sandbridgehouses.com home page.

Upcoming community events include the Sandbridge Civic League meetings on February 17th and March 17th. The 1st Annual Watersports Swap Meet on March 30th at the Baja Restaurant and the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 19th at Little Island Park. Check www.sandbridgelife.com for more details on these events and more. That’s it for now.

Aloha,
Pat
