Sandbridge Beach has three projects on the calendar starting in March, the beach replenishment, beach access points and the expansion of parking spaces at Little Island Park. Weeks Marine will be mobilizing equipment for the sand replenishment within the next few weeks and the next two access points to be improved will be Rock Lane and White Cap Lane.
The real estate market is picking up as it usually does this time of year. Within the last two weeks three of SBH Real Estate’s listings have gone under contract; Sunset Villa, Cankuhn and Quarters Sea. Of note is the shortened market time for single family homes in our market compared to last year. See table below.
See links below for recent sales and pending transactions. There are 2 pending and 2 sold condos within the last 30 days. Single family homes have 6 pending sales and 1 sold for the same period.
We have experienced modest growth in new listings but are still below levels in 2012 which supports the difference in market time or days on market (DOM).
