Warmer days are ahead, YES! We have officially moved into spring according to the calendar, which I know many of us are glad to see. The manic pace of contractors in Sandbridge has begun as the deadline approaches for that first summer check-in for 2015. I’ll relay a funny story from last week that I am sure many can relate too; we had one day that approached 80 degrees, as soon as my son got home from school he put on his shorts and asked if he could go swimming in the Mill Pond. I had to break the news that it takes more than one day to warm up the water. After going out and testing the water temperature he came back to the house and shook his head in disappointment, I assured him it would be soon.
Real estate in Sandbridge is moving right along, with seven homes and three condos in the queue for closing. See link for detail of these properties and sold for this period. There is one property being sold “for sale by owner” that I toured the other day that is interesting. Located on the semi-oceanfront, the seller/owner will give the buyer for his home “first-right-of-refusal” on the oceanfront lot directly in front. He has no plans to develop this lot so it could create a nice combo real estate investment. The rental property currently generates $120K in gross income and is exceptionally maintained.
