Let me begin by wishing you all a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend! Sandbridge is in full swing in preparation for the weekend and upcoming summer season. Improvements include; a few safety updates on Sandbridge Rd., three new beach access points (Widgeon, Rock, and White Cap) and the expansion of the recycle program at all beach access points. For those of you that are planning to visit over the weekend, come by and participate or view the Annual Memorial Day parade to begin at 9am on Monday starting at the south end of Bluebill Drive, ending on Wood Duck. Hotdogs and awards immediately follow after parade. See www.sandbridgelife.com for more details.

On the real estate front, things have warmed up with the weather. There are 5 houses currently “under contract” and 5 “sold” homes for the period. Condo sales consist of 2 sold for the same 30 day period. See link for details on these properties. It was a great pleasure to help Chris and Erin move into the neighborhood this past month. They have lived in Virginia Beach for many years but always dreamed of living in Sandbridge Beach. Well, with much planning and effort we sold their house in town and found a great property for them to move into, I look forward to seeing them on the waters of Back Bay for many years to come.

As I wrap up this monthly newsletter, again I wish all of you a blessed Memorial Day weekend with family and friends, and please take a moment to thank those that paid the ultimate sacrifice to insure our freedom. Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving our great country!

Aloha,
Pat
