September was a busy month in Sandbridge with the threat of Hurricane Earl, the Annual Pig Pickin’, Baja Surf Classic, Livestrong Dolphin Challenge and the Annual SandbridgeHouses.com client party. There was plenty of opportunity to catch up with friends, family and neighbors with all this activity. Photos of the Livestrong Dolphin Challenge and the SBH Client Appreciation Party can be found below.
I would like to thank the following sponsors for their support of this event; Maloney Electric, Sandbridge Beach Buggies, Aloha Pool Services, Southern Trust Mortgage, The Will Carder Team, Resort Pool & Fences, and Greg Kram Designs.
All of these events are great examples of how active the Sandbridge Beach community is and the causes that we care so much about. The next neighborhood event is this Sunday (October 10th). It’s the Fall Clean Up; volunteers are to meet at Little Island Park at 1:00pm. Participants will be treated to a barbecue provided by The Boardwok Restaurant. Call Kevin Wong at 757-615-5376 with any questions about this event.
Along with the social events, we had quite an active month in real estate. See link for pending and sold houses (pdf file) and link for pending condo sales (pdf file). I was very fortunate to represent buyers Brad and Amy on the purchase of 2828 Sandpiper. They will be living in Sandbridge with their three children after some renovations are done to the house. The family is very excited to be part of the community. Part of this real estate activity is certainly tied to the low interest rates that are available and increased affordability.
