Sandbridge Beach gets hit by snowy Nor easter. Yesterday the community received about 14 inches of snow with 20-30 mph winds. It was fun for the kids but made traveling very difficult. The last time with received this much snow was in 1981. Throughout the day I made several trips along Sandfiddler and Sandpiper rd., the only two business’ open were the Sandbridge Market with owners Dave and Fran Dennis running on a skelton crew, and Sandbridge Island Restaurant which did a brisk business all day.
