Spring has arrived!
Spring is here and April has given us a mixed bag of weather. We have had some beautiful warm days, almost summer-like to colder days, where we are lighting our fireplaces. The Sandbridge Road/Nimmo Parkway project is moving along. They have built a temporary road to Sandpiper Road, while they build the new road into Sandbridge.
The statistics below show that the market has slowed from previous months. With single-family properties, part of the issue is inventory, with only 10 homes for sale it certainly limits options for buyers. Interest rates are also having a negative effect as well. This certainly is a unique period in real estate, not only for Sandbridge but for the entire country. I know for sure that this too shall change. The question is how and when, stay tuned.
Activity for past 30 days is as follows:
Single Family Homes – 2 Pending and 1 Sold
Condos – 1 Pending and 1 Sold

We had a very successful Sandbridge Beach Civic League Easter Egg Hunt at Little Island Park with over 100 kids along with parents and grandparents. The Easter Bunny led each age group to the beach to hundreds of eggs for each kid to add to their Easter basket. See the link for photos, courtesy of Kelly Freel Photography. I just heard the Baja Coffee Company at the Bayview location will be opening starting weekends the 15th of May.
Some local events coming in May are the 12th Annual Bad to the Boards Cornhole Tournament to benefit the Children Hospital of King’s Daughters (CHKD) on May 19th at the Baja Restaurant. On Memorial Day, May 27th we have 2 local events, The Run to Remember at the Pungo Aviation Museum and the Sandbridge Beach Civic League Memorial Day Parade.
As I close out this newsletter, I would like to wish you great health, happiness and prosperity.
Enjoy the rest of the Spring and see you on the beach!
Aloha,
Pat
