The Sandbridge Boat Parade went off without a hitch with over 20 boats participating, see sandbridgelife.com for photos and the winners! Now onto the 41st Annual Sandbridge Pig Pickin, which is scheduled for September 11th. We will have tickets available here at the office! See below; one of the posters from a Pig Pickin from the past! Anyone remember what year this poster represented the Pig Pickin?
On the real estate front we continue to move along at a fast pace, by that, I mean when new listings come on most are “under contract” within a few days and for more than list price. I do expect more listings coming on during the 3rd and 4th quarter after the summer season.

A few weeks ago we held a “Dolphin naming contest” for our new dolphin at the office. We had a great response with close to 100 names submitted, the winning name was submitted by Larry Ebeling. We decided on “Freddie” in honor of long time Sandbridge resident Fred Greene as he volunteered much of his time for the greater good of Sandbridge Beach and was one of the original board members of “A Dolphin’s Promise”, a fundraiser started by Cindy Graf to support cancer research. With Fred’s wife Wanda’s permission, we are honored to introduce Freddie to the public.
