Upcoming Local Events — Memorial Day, May 27

Memorial Day Weekend in Sandbridge means one thing—the beloved Annual Memorial Day Parade!

  •  Monday, May 26
  • Bluebill Drive and Wood Duck Lane (off Tuna)

From the Sandbridge Civic League: “Dress up your buggies, bikes, kids, and pets and show your patriotic pride! Parade participants will meet at the south end of Bluebill Drive at 9:30 a.m. The parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. and proceeds to the south end of Wood Duck. That’s where we’ll gather for hot dogs, neighborhood fun, and a prize ceremony.

Prizes will be awarded for:

  • Most Patriotic Bike
  • Best Decorated Buggy
  • Best-Dressed Dog”
