Summer went out quietly this year as Labor Day was a gully washer day, filled with a steady downpour of rain and wind from a stubborn low pressure sitting off the coast. I can’t complain though, over all, Mother Nature treated Sandbridge Beach well for most of the season. On the community side of things, SandbridgeHouses.com is the proud sponsor of the Sandbridge Dolphin Challenge held on October 3, 2009 at Little Island Park. See link for details of this great family event. The race consists of a 5K, 10K and kids one-mile fun run.
