The kids battle it out for the biggest bass!
Great fishermen and supporters of the Bob Aaron Memorial Scholarship gathered at the Baja to kick off the Second Annual Double Clutch Bass Fishing Tournament on September 24.
Fishing began at sunrise with categories including Motorized Boat, Kayak, Shore Fishing and Youth. Participants weighed in their best catch at the Baja with Aaron Peckham bringing in a 2.49 lb winner!
The Baja Restaurant threw a beach party that featured bluegrass band IDGB, fantastic BBQ, a silent auction and an Award Ceremony.
Funds raised from registration fees will go towards a scholarship for one area high school senior who displays a “passion for fishing and concern for environmental stewardship.”
