Spring has finally sprung at the beach!
Most of March was cold and windy and after the super mild February, it was a tough three weeks to get through. Two weeks ago, the runners for the Shamrock Marathon had to endure 40 degree temperatures with northeast wind and rain, some of the worst conditions the race has ever seen. But as I write this newsletter, the last four days has been in the 70’s with plenty of sunshine!
Lots of activity in the real estate market. My last newsletter came out on February 5th so there’s approximately 60 days of activity on this report.
These statistics are considerably stronger than last year at this time. I think the activity is based on current economic news and the prediction from many lenders that rates will rise in the short term. The range in sales prices is from $1,200,000 to $355,000. Our office just listed one of the most unique real estate offerings in Sandbridge history. Palazzo/Bella Vita is two oceanfront homes offered together at a list price of $7,400,000. We are excited to bring these two beautiful homes to the market, see our featured listing on this page for more information.
Some local events coming soon are the Annual Easter Egg Hunt (via sandbridgelife.com) held April 15th at Little Island Park followed by the Spring Clean Up on April 22nd. Following the Clean Up, there will be a water sports swap meet held at the Baja Restaurant. Bring your used water toys (surfboards, paddleboards, wetsuits, etc.) and sell or trade for other toys. Check out the latest events in Sandbridge Beach. Enjoy the weather and hope to see you at an upcoming event soon!
Aloha,
