A WWII military ordinance washed up on the shores of Sandbridge Beach! The ordinance washed up early Thursday morning covered in rust and barnacles. People came up throughout the day to take a look at the 75-year-old ordinance. One observer was an Air Force Veteran who called 911 to make sure no one was hurt. The Navy Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team arrived and determined that it was empty because the demolition material had fallen out from holes caused by rust. The ordinance is currently with the Navy.
