Has everyone seen the posts of Facebook for “30 Days of Gratitude?” Many people on my friends list are posting a status update for something they are grateful for each day throughout the month of November. It has been inspiring to see my friends, family and coworkers extend their gratitude daily. The benefits of that one minute of the day that is set aside to express gratitude are immeasurable. This Facebook trend has me thinking about not only the obvious things I am thankful for, but for the multitude of blessings I receive each year.
This Thanksgiving I am thankful to live in a tight-knit community with amazing family and friends. We’ve had another fantastic year in Sandbridge and have made some very good memories during events like the Baja’s Fall Feast, Pig Pickin’, Hei Hei, LiveStrong Challenge, Baja Surf Classic and all of the days in between.
I hope you all have a safe, happy and wonderful Thanksgiving and Holiday Season!
Aloha,
Pat Barton
