Phones are ringing off the hook in SBH Real Estate office today, partially due to an active real estate market and also because everyone wants to know if the boat parade and fireworks are still on for Friday evening. According to the experts at the National Hurricane Center, Tropical Storm Arthur is going to bring rain and heavy winds to Sandbridge Beach late Thursday night through Friday morning.
As of Wednesday at 2:00 pm, the Annual Boat Parade & Fireworks Show is still to occur as scheduled for Friday evening.
If organizers decide that Friday’s weather will not permit the much anticipated 4th of July festivities, a rain date is scheduled for Saturday, July 5.
