Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge has an exciting new program for the month of December. Beginning this Friday at 3pm community members are welcome to take a one mile guided tour of the refuge.
There will be countless opportunities to view and photograph the variety of migrant waterfowl that come through Back Back during the winter months. Refuge staff and experienced Birders will be leading the walks and identifying the fowl along the way.
The tours will begin at the Visitor Contact Station with a destination of the Refuge Wildlife Viewing Window. Reservations are requested. Call 757-301-7329 and let the staff know that you would like to join them.
